In fact I've never come across someone with EDS who's cis! And a friend says they know a trans girl with EDS as well. So is that one massive coincidence, or do we think there's some kind of link there? Cos that's kinda spooky :o

So weird that everyone wants to take the time to make sure that a cis definitely did something bad for malicious reasons and call for restraint when outrage builds but can’t dispose of trans women fast enough when any random anon makes a claim about her.
Can you imagine what things would look like if trans women got even half of the benefit of the doubt that cis people get?
"if you don't like where you are, go make your own instance" is uncomfortably like "if you don't like your neighbourhood, build a house somewhere else" -- it presumes a whole shitload of privilege and resources.
Instead, it's much better to point people to the list of instances, e.g. the list of essentially free housing they can trivially move to. Just think before you say "just do [enormously difficult technical thing] lmao" like it's eating ice cream.

@[email protected] Hey, any idea what sort of resolution and update frequency the voltage reading on those HS110s is? It looks like the voltage reading on my Energenie devices is to zero decimal places and only updates every 10 secs :(
I've been considering making my own mains voltage monitor for a while - the output of a 230-to-5V transformer fed into an ADC via a resistor divider - but a pre-made one is tempting of course! I want to see the line noise and voltage fluctuations and such! :)

yall should use alt text when uploading images! what are they??? hover over the images to find out! why are they good? the tldr of it is that visually impaired computer users exist and it helps them navigate the INFOBAHN better
