We've announced next week's meetup! As of right now we've got 1 awesome speaker with Olga Shabalina speaking about serverless data pipelines. We've got a plan for the second slot, but if you are interested in giving a talk please reach out and you can take that slot! Otherwise, we hope to see you all next week!
We're back next Wednesday with our March meetup! We have 2 great presentations lined up by Praveen Patidar and @arjen who will be going into cost-effective automation and cloud design respectively. Clearly an event you don't want to miss! And yes, in case you're unlucky enough that you can't attend in person, there is a livestream as well.
This is your reminder that tonight is our monthly meetup! However, we understand that today is an extremely hot day 🥵 with a high danger of fires, so make sure you keep that in mind before attending in person.
That said, we'll be discussing #AmazonBedrock and #PartyRock tonight in two great talks so it should be a lot of fun!

In less than 2 weeks we have our September meetup! Come along on 27 September to listen to Colin Andrews talk about how IAM works from a mathematical perspective, followed by Renaldi Gondosubroto showing us how to build an anonymous chat forum on #aws. As usual, we open in person for food at 6 and start the actual contents and livestream at 6:30. Come along and have fun!
Our meetup is starting in only 2 hours! We're fully booked, but you can still watch our live stream from 6:30 at https://melb.awsug.org.au/live. Join us!

Despite a few hiccups in the lead-up to last night's meetup, we had a great night! Between Matthew Merriel and @walmsles we had two great speakers who told us all about the difficulties of automating a What's New section and how we can build a serverless URL shortener respectively.
All in all, a really good night and it was great to see so many of you turn up.
