It seems #Windows is determined to force me to switch to #Linux. Now I can only boot into safe mode, or else it's just a black screen. I shouldn't have to sift through a million troubleshooting tips just to attempt a fix.
I will now be flashing Linux and booting from USB (watch it work first try) to see if that fixes everything. Which flavor should I choose?

@gamingonlinux This is the kind of news I like to hear! They're playing chess with Nintendo, and I hope emulation wins!
@gamingonlinux It's almost like Nintendo is trying to get me to not spend another cent on them ever again. All they are doing each time something like this happens is incentivize people to make emulators that don't even bother to reverse engineer anything, and then host them somewhere where they can never be taken down.
Shooting themselves in the foot here.
