working on preparing my asparagus dish right now, going to make it with (vegan) hollandaise sauce, salt boiled potatoes and some (vegan) wiener schnitzel... this practical section of the Einbürgerungstest is so terrifying x_x

dusting off a list of things to do once I get PR:
- hmm i guess i got rejected for a DKB account in 2022 as they didn't like that i lacked a PR, but I don't care for an account now
- ireland used to offer fee-waived tourist visas but stopped mid 2023
- maybe e-gates work now?! was supposed to work for me but never did for some reason.
- hmm do I still want to work for that foreign company that wanted to hire me but I'd have to be self employed
- oh yeah i guess i can stop carrying around 3 bits of paper (new zusatzblatt just notes that I am also a holder of an eu blue card which is useful as it has more intra-eu mobility rights, don't need to carry the letter about change of my employment terms being relaxed, maybe don't need to carry sbgg certificate but might still hold onto it until reiseausweis)
- i can probably take a loan and buy an idyllic house in the middle of the forest now hashtag cottagecore
