@thejessiekirk crossword. It’s recursive.
@alice oh no
@brian I wrote a silly little article on mine recently, more or less just for myself / the void. I don’t use tracking and don’t expect anyone to read. A few days later I got a lovely email from a reader. It was such a human interaction, not through a social media lens.
I had a work trip to Montreal this week, and I stupidly packed a cup noodle snack thing without wrapping it up, so of course it burst and got flavour powder all over everything. Thankfully I overpacked, and had enough clean things to cobble together a couple of outfits. This is one of them, and I kinda love how it turned out.
@Tattie I think about this a lot and I don't have an answer I’m satisfied with yet. If it comes up, then I think my approach right now would be to make myself available to talk, and make it clear that they can ask me (a trans woman) anything at all in confidence, with no judgement, and no assumptions. I wouldn't do any *telling*.

@Impossible_PhD I just finished Nameless, and I absolutely loved it. It's hard to find the words and I'm still processing it. I read a fair amount of science fiction, but I never managed to get along with cyberpunk before now. I think, with body modification being common in the genre, most handling of it felt clumsy. You addressed that head on and made me realise that my physical dysphoria was probably what was speaking to me as I read those books.

A coincidence caught me off guard. I just got back to the UK from a work trip to Montreal, and it was pretty cold and snowy. I was glad to have bought a pair of good boots with me. I found myself thinking a lot about Vimes’ boots theory. I did *not* expect to see Vimes get a shout out in the book!

@sheepfilms @xgranade everyone thinks this is a clever trick, but it’s just what happens when you board an empty train at Brighton station.
@thejessiekirk caffeinated, which is almost as good as rested.
@faithisleaping Unbidden, the image of a boba tea with oestrogen pills instead of tapioca. Slurp!
