One of two remaining art shows this spring. Duluth Georgia this coming weekend if you’re near.
BF’s son turned 21 recently. This pretty much nails how we found him in the bathroom in a completely “can’t be unseen” night. He has no memory of it thank F.
My sky this morning.
I’m all for business owners making really good money but I think after you’re making a billion a year, you’re just a selfish prick not sharing it with your staff or cutting prices when they all make make a billion too.
The experimental archaeologist in me can’t start a new craft without digging into its history & coming up with ten more projects tangential to it. I WAS learning tablet weaving. Now I’m trying to imagine a domestic setup geared toward production like the weavers w/warp weighted looms depicted for cloth. Enter the lashed pole monster on my porch that could just as easily be a beam or a tree limb, ladder or standard loom. Weights, a bench and a method of cord separation is all that is needed.
My favorite pair. Raggedy Ann and Andy. Older than I am.
The solstice tree is complete. Note, this is not a Christmas tree. Cthulhu will reside at the top after a household vote. Stars, hearts, bords, berries, nests, leaves, twigs, blown glass pine cones snowflakes and some vintage ornaments of sentimental value.
Day 2. Lights. It doesn’t matter how long something takes you. And you can keep your joy up as long as you want.
8 & 1/2 hours ago I started hybridizing two partial faux Xmas trees. Clipped all the pre-lit but non-functional bulbs off K’s mom’s and “def-urred” the ancient one. Then put them together. Looks damn good if I do say so myself. This pagan tree thing is about all I enjoy every year. A real one is fun to burn after tho.
It should be easier to put up next year, right?
Bahahahahahaaaaa….

Some of the best surf on the Atlantic but it’s just me & the birds today. Ah, Monday.
