At least he gave the speech on April Fools’ Day so the rest of the world will just think this was a joke.
Why bother having spies or engage in espionage when you can just track U.S. military plans by following polymarket bets of insider traders in the Trump administration?

Bonne ambiance !

“I know Joss Whedon said some bad things about me,” says Jeunet. “I don’t care. I know if Joss Whedon had made the film himself, it probably would have been a big success. He’s very good at making films for American geeks – something for morons. Because he’s very good at making Marvel films. I hate this kind of movie. It’s so silly, so stupid.”

Jean-Pierre Jeunet on Alien Resurrection, 25 years on: ‘I think it’s kind of sexy and weird’

The cult French director talks to Tom Fordy about his 1997 reboot, why he hates the sort of movies its screenwriter Joss Whedon makes, and his uncompromising message for those who don’t like his gruesome ‘arty’ take on Alien

I can really recommend these if you want a Mac OS 9 & early OS X machine (research exact models first, some don’t boot Mac OS 9).

They obviously look amazing, it’s relatively easy to get a SSD installed and you can even get them on Wi-Fi and e.g. access a modern NAS.

Also pretty compact and easy to move around (no power brick).

Protip: with the special speakers for them they sound fantastic, and make a great CD player; and it plays OG Marathon really well…

"Definitely a cool moment for us and our family."

The first father-son assist in NBA history happened last night 💯

While lots of people complain about the risk of reduced software quality from AI slop code contributions, all I see is a lot of opportunity to improve test automation using AI in ways that were simply infeasible before the age of LLMs and coding agents.

You can actually automate "eyeball this UI change to see if it looks janky" which was quite infeasible prior to AI coding agents.

Claude Opus 4.5 (November 2025) was already a step change in model quality and was when the reality of AI agents started to match the hype.

The idea of an even more capable being launched so soon afterwards is amazing progress and also a little scary.

They’ll try to deny it but this is exactly what they voted for.
