Echoes of Iceland — part 1
astralia on November 7, 2025: "Two years ago, I spent two weeks road-tripping around Iceland. I hadn’t posted here anything related to that trip, so here they are, my echoes of Iceland. 🌬️ November might not sound like the ideal month to go — it’s cold, windy, and snowy, and daylight lasts only a few hours. But that’s part of the magic. ✨ But… there are fewer people, the roads feel quieter, and campervans are much more affordable since it’s low season. The highlands are closed for most vehicles, but there’s still plenty to explore and discover. Something I found surprising and it’s important to me: supermarkets are full of vegan options 🌿 Would you travel to Iceland in winter? I’ll share more about this experience in following posts, so stay tuned! 😊 Ps: all the pictures were taken by myself. ⸻ Hace dos años pasé dos semanas recorriendo Islandia en una furgoneta camperizada. No había publicado nada aquí sobre ese viaje, así que podemos considerar que estos son mis ecos de Islandia 🌬️ Noviembre quizá no parezca el mejor mes para visitarla, ya que hace frío, viento, nieve, y solo hay unas pocas horas de luz. Pero ahí está su encanto. ✨ Hay menos gente, las carreteras están tranquilas y las furgonetas son mucho más asequibles al ser temporada baja. Las highlands están cerradas para la mayoría de vehículos, pero hay mucho por ver y descubrir. Una cosa que me sorprendió bastante y es importante para mí: los supermercados están llenos de opciones veganas. 🌿 ¿Viajarías a Islandia en invierno?
