@s0 ah, that's admirable. I do not have that kind of patience, so for my instance I just made a page explaining the common reasons someone's account may get rejected (username that should be under a CW, not a proper explanation of why the instance was chosen instead of another and so on)
I had read the rules a long time ago when I was checking the instance out, so I just made the account without thinking at like 2 am, then got repeatedly frustrated with the 420 character limit.
When I was done, I'd already felt bad about not explicitly mentioning I'm trans, and the next day when I asked someone else how long should I wait before assuming the account was not accepted the person mentioned having to mention something specific to get in as said in the rules. Then I reread them, facepalmed and decided I would be lucky if the account rejection would be the only consequence of my failed application.
