Nextcloud is a great solution for syncing and backing up files (like Dropbox), but it can also do lots more!
It can sync bookmarks, stream your music, manage a todo list, securely store passwords, keep track of RSS feeds, and more!
I have nextcloud running on a raspberry pi, and it works well for me, a single user with two computers and a phone. Nextclud has clients for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.
