They actually moved some of the base game content from the starting planet to other planets with the DLC. And you can transport things between planets to kick start your factory, so each new planet should take significantly less time than the starting planet. So it’s not really as long as playing through the whole base game then 4x more.

Still takes longer to beat but not like 5x. Closer to 2x for most people I think. Don’t be afraid. The interplanetary factory must grow.

Freighters aren’t difficult to get now…

Tap for spoiler

They just straight up give you a freighter after 3 hyper jumps IIRC

You gotta assume paradox is fully capable of breaking your game saves without mods involved though!

This actually exists, but appears to be implemented in Chrome on Windows only (sigh), and I’m not sure anyone uses it:

From the conclusion of the UN report you linked:

Serious human rights violations have been committed in XUAR in the context of the Government’s application of counter-terrorism and counter-“extremism” strategies. The implementation of these strategies, and associated policies in XUAR has led to interlocking patterns of severe and undue restrictions on a wide range of human rights. These patterns of restrictions are characterized by a discriminatory component, as the underlying acts often directly or indirectly affect Uyghur and other predominantly Muslim communities.

But this is all just whataboutism anyway. We can be against human rights violations regardless of who is doing it and whether they condemn each other.

Tip: you can use the WhatsApp web site for text messaging (I don’t think it works for audio/video?) and if you want to use it in a standalone window you can “install” it as a web app (in most browsers). It’ll use way less RAM running in your existing browser than running a separate electron instance.
Generally agree, but your idea that native games are safer than websites is backwards. Browsers are basically hardened sandboxes for running untrusted code. Even though steam does a good job of detecting and taking down malware it’s still downloading executables that run with full access to your system (unless you run steam in a sandbox of some kind). Playing games in a browser is no less safe than loading any other website.
And TIIIIIIIIIIME…
Well, there’s a “no tip” button that is always there, and it’s entirely reasonable to press here in Australia
I wish this was real. I would 100% press this button every time.
