Acceptance and Agreement: There is a Difference

I believe what I heard coming from Trump's mouth on January 6th...and, how he didn't help elected leaders of our country for hours. I know what I heard him say in his belittling prisoner of war Sen. John McCain, and disrespect a Gold Star family. I believe what I heard Mike Pence, Kevin McCarthy and many other Republicans expressed immediately after the attempted insurrection about Trump's actions that day.

Refusing to Let Trump Steal My Joy

View all responses I've been doing wonderful at letting Trump's and behavior not run my blood pressure up...but this morning's headlines about investigating 60 Minutes hit an all-time high. There is an old saying, "if you don't vote, don't complain."  If Trump didn't have the guts to at least get in the game that everyone who interviews with 60 Minutes knows, then he needs to go somewhere and sit down.

This Life is Very Short…

Share a lesson you wish you had learned earlier in life. In my youth I thought I had time to do everything…now I’m in an awful hurry. I thought I had time to find the love of my life (again and again), time to have a career, time to have my family, time to eat right, time to forgive my enemies and those I had offended, time to take care of the earth, time to read my favorite books, time to spend with those I loved more than myself, time and energy to visit my favorite places, time to repair my errors, time to catch up with friends and family (some now gone), time for just me, time to make this world better for those who come behind me, and more—my, my, how time flies. I wish I knew earlier in my beautiful life how fast the years would come and go…it seems this life is very short.

There’s No Place for Political Violence in America…or for Trump In the WH

I am afraid of what a Trump win will do to America, but I have never thought about him dying or being physically harmed.  I want him out of the political realm because I don’t think he has the heart, the temperament, the patriotism, or the knowledge to be President or to hold any office…furthermore, he doesn’t see or care about his shortcomings.
