So I probably missed this discussion early on in SF6 discourse
But safejump parry OS is actually useful if you're low on drive gauge and don't want to lose another 1/2 bar due to blocking someone's OD reversal (and gain 1/2 bar for the parry) but without PP damage penalty
Basically what I'm doing is performing my safejump attack with MP+MK+HP and *holding down the buttons* until I land before trying to combo
If the attack hits, the hitstop of the attack keeps me locked in midair and I let go of parry before I land
This simultaneous input also prevents you from getting an accidental perfect parry which would kill your damage output. Getting locked into parry animation also means you can input followup landing attacks and not worry about getting hit by the reversal.
