Over the years I've accumulated a few dead hard drives. Not wanting to dump them in the eco-station in any sort of usable way, I've taken to disassembling them.
And each time I've been struck by the beauty of engineering hidden away inside these tiny spinning devices.
Neat thing, the platters are almost the perfect size to make neat drink coasters :)
