@georgetakei That is a bit odd from someone who, as I remember back in the seventies, was famous for gender-fluid costume.
@davetroy I don't really disagree. But people have been generating great transformation narratives since they first thought of life as non-static, that is, when history was discovered. The scenarios they create can be very similar because of the laws of human narrative—there probably are not many ways of telling the story of some grand eschatogical transformation. So similarities may indicate not a vast plan but just that human narratives have recurring patterns.

@davetroy, the report is a really crazy monument of mid-twentieth century thinking of those Ivy grads who imagined themselves our enlightened aristocratic class. Oddly, It quotes the comic strip "Pogo" on p. xviii, in the first introduction: "As the inimitable Pogo said in the comics, 'We have met the enemy and he is us!'" In any case, so far it seems well-written and it could be fun to read.
