Omggg Witch King is SO GOOD. I'm three chapters in and it's already a nail-biter. I love Kai, Zaide, and Grandmother. I need to know how the past and present are connected. *flails*

The only bad imho: some of the things that happened to create misunderstandings between the characters got a bit draggy. I felt like they could have severely trimmed back at *least* two of those arcs, & I started fast-forwarding because it was repetitive. I would not have missed one of the sub-plots (it was great for one character's development but like...it could have been one episode 😑), which I also skimmed over a bit.

But I didn't care. I had so much fun overall.

Love and Redemption was SO GOOD.

The last several episodes paid off everything that had happened deliciously. It was such a sprawling story that I'm sure a plot thread or two must have been missed, but the things I cared about were covered.

The FL went through an incredible character journey. I really deeply believed in the love story. The ML's helpless devotion was a roller-coaster of tragic & adorable, but he was also a solid character on his own. So many great side characters too.

I NEED to know what the literal translation of the original Chinese is here. Was Wu Zhiqi *actually* saying that Yuan Lang is afraid that Yu Sifeng might usurp YL's place with Luohou Jidou because YSF is sexier???

I was so excited to watch the last few episodes of Love and Redemption this weekend, but somebody drove over the utility box up the street that has the internet hub for the neighborhood and it won't be fixed until MONDAY. And I don't want to watch on my tiny phone screen! 😫

Yes!!! We got the scenes where everybody saw that Sifeng was not the bad guy!

AND even better, Xuanji got the DETAILS.

NGL, I would love to see YSF to just go "fuck it" and use the Devil Star identity to go on a rampage and just. Kill the people who need killing. And then fuck off and go somewhere and be happy without all of the clan bullshit.

I know it would be OOC but maaaaan. The kid needs a break.

The only complaint I have about the latter half of the show so far is that I'm REAL TIRED of the FREQUENT lengthy scenes where Xuanji's family and "friends" and others berate her, guilt trip her, sometimes gaslight her, and try to manipulate her into behaving/thinking/feeling the way they want her to behave/think/feel.

Even if their reasons are occasionally understandable, it's enraging. It's the only stuff I'm fast-forwarding thru. OMFG.
