reminder: you owe a thoughtful response to every unsolicited, copy/pasted sales pitch
But an equally good approach might be to demonize the content creators (especially those from credible publications) and attempt to extract to public services, especially if you don't understand why your app became featured on all local news in the country.
Luckily, reach has been completely extinguished, so those regular people can't share their frustration with one another using this platform
I'm no product manager, but if I had journalists creating and sharing tons of free content AND emergency services treating my product as core infrastructure, I might consider what that means to the people I'm trying to keep from fleeing

2. The biggest impact will be something other than or indirect result of what pundits predict

The pattern is obvious: The proposals that they refuse to engage with are the ones that would protect writers the most. That would protect us from being turned into gig workers they pay by the day. We are fighting for nothing less than the survival of writing as a viable career.
