With the advent of emulators on iOS, a version of QEMU has been ported, named UTM SE, meaning you can run PC-like operating systems. I installed FreeDOS and managed to get Z80 running, although in a very glitchy manner. RealSpec runs but doesn’t recognise the keyboard. Other emulators may be more compliant.

There are other (easier) ways of playing Speccy games on your mobile Apple device, but this has to be the coolest. Plus, it opens the gateway for emulator either - inferior - computers.

Moves are being made to get iDOS (the DOSBox port) back into the store. I’m lucky enough to have it still from the brief period it was available. It’s more reliable but not as performant.

It appears that @llamasoft_ox has been influencing both my booze and my buses.
