@purplepadma Hi Charlotte. My lovely OH was misdiagnosed with encephalitis. After much heartache and pushing from us, new MRI showed a massive 12cm glioblastoma. Too late for surgery, too big for radiotherapy, so just palliative chemo. Devastated #glioblastoma

Been quiet for a while. My OH has now been diagnosed with 12cm glioblastoma after being wrongly diagnosed with encephalitis. Too late for surgery or radiotherapy so we’re on palliative chemo. Devastated, angry, in a state of disbelief. But he is so positive we are following his lead. My incredible partner for over 50yrs. #glioblastoma #BrainTumour

@purplepadma No thankfully. He spent 24hrs there with heat stroke diagnosis. Then we flew home and ended up in A&E and a month in hospital here with brain infection ! Not heat stroke! So glad we made it home
@purplepadma I’m ok thanks. Apart from my OH been in hospital with encephalitis!! Took ill on a family holiday in Spain with all the kids/grandkids. Been an awful month! He’s Home now so fingers crossed x
