My son Ciaran is autistic. I did not expect him to remember Mothers Day. He did. Moreover, while this may not look like much, he looked up how to say Happy Mother’s Day in Welsh, because he knows it’s special to me, and tried to draw the Welsh flag. I’m genuinely touched that he gave me such a thoughtful gift. ❤️🏴❤️

If I speak Welsh at the level of a child, why not read Children’s books? This one is adorable.
I don’t mean to brag, but my Welsh lesson just asked me to say “I don’t want to stop talking but I’m not sure if I can remember how to say anything else” and I did it without even thinking about it. Come to think of it, it’s probably going to be my most useful sentence when I get to speak to others. 😂

The other night I dreamt I met a Canadian actress. But it turned out she came from a Welsh speaking family and was fluent in Cymraeg. So I started speaking to her in Welsh. Does this mean I’m actually learning? 🤔
Anniversary celebration! 5 years is wood. His gift to me is a Welsh love spoon coming from Wales, so it isn’t here yet. But it will have our names and anniversary when it comes.
He noted that the pen I got him said “5 years down, forever to go” by saying “I thought you said only 5 more!” So either his sense of humor is intact or he hasn’t caught on to the fact that the debt just gets deeper every year. Next year it will be six to go. So, I think he’s stuck with me. 😂
Our April Fools joke was from Mother Nature this year. Overnight she gave us a snowstorm that’s left us without power for about 16 hours now.
