Sort of frustrated at my inability to leave an old job behind (old job is still located in my library). But not sure what to do when something won't get done without me stepping in to help.

All day long search committee meetings today!

I was in a meeting yesterday with some people and they were commenting on my productivity levels and the number of different roles I've had in a short amount of time. And they were contemplating my skills/acknowledging that it is hard to have so many positions, and I was just like "That's what happens when you can only get positions funded on soft money for several years." I'm so glad that isn't the case for me anymore, but would love to go 3+ years with only one job + only one supervisor.

Have 6th year informal tenure review meeting today...

Feeling pretty ranty about the most recent library debacle on twitter, yet I will not rant....

Nothing like starting the day with a passive aggressive e-mail from Special Collections...

Road tripping to see eclipse totality was crazy yesterday but glad I did it.

Have really been having a hard time sleeping due to current events.

Glad to be home. Was productive enough at work today but feeling tired and cranky because I was up late reading the news, etc
