I can never be convinced that an “ex” Nazi is ever a good candidate for office.

You know what else?

Why is our choice that guy when there’s literally SO many other human beings.

Like sorry if you were a Nazi I don’t think you’re fit to run for office.

And it’s not surprising he was a creep too

And even fucking better governments are using these same systems

Like for the love of god give me a human being I can’t stand enshittification anymore

I’m ready to go back to the barter system and stop using every single one of these things

Customer service being handled entirely by LLMs with natural voices is so infuriating.

They’ll literally tell you you’re right about things and give you no actual options to fix it.

And good luck getting in touch with an actual human.

I’ve had bots hang up on men instead of sending me to a person

I think the write up from jonathanzong (on Bluesky).com and frank (on Bluesky).computer perfectly captures this problem.

It’s humiliating being told we can’t fund basic accessibility initiatives when we can throw billions at AI while using disabled people as mascots to justify it

The Web Is Being Made Accessible for AI, Not People

Jonathan Zong and Frank Elavsky critique how AI-driven infrastructure changes obscure accessibility and reveal whose needs society chooses to prioritize.

I’ve used the “AI reads like people do” case to justify continued accessibility work (link to Forbes on that)

But there’s something really upsetting about having to do that when ultimately we’ve always had people who need accessibility.

All people need accessibility

How Accessibility Prepares Your Website For AI Search

The foundation for AI search success isn't new technology—it's timeless principles of clear communication, semantic structure and accessible design.

“We’re in a new era of tech”

Yes, everything that is in the future is new because that’s how time works.

Please shut up.

How exciting (design tool) added an automated accessibility checker!

Oh, it’s just for color contrast again you say?

Damn here I was thinking we had any understanding of accessible design basics in 2026

Years ago I wrote "Designing with Ketchup." Now I'm back with the sequel: Designing with Mustard.

This article talks about what design is, the purpose of prototyping, "use AI or else" rhetoric, and refusing to output slop.

Designing with Mustard — Anna E. Cook

Designing with mustard is the future of design. I used to think it was ketchup, but I was wrong. If you're not currently designing with mustard, you should get out of design and tech. The future of design is mustard. Adapt or perish.
