i find it hard/weird to handle all the multiple instances, finding ppl, etc.

like, it seems having a smaller group there is nice for the local timeline. but idk exactly how to approach mastodon as like, a “real” social thing for me, since i don’t have a picture of where ppl are or how to find them. might naturally get better over time, i think Twitter was like that for me back when i first started? idk

I’d be interested in contributing to mastodon if I understood how it works lol
