Honestly, Mastodon just doesn't do it for me. It's just not that intuitive and the whole decentralized aspect makes it less usable than most people would like it (and makes it impossible to search, or interact with other instances through links).

Find me over at Threads. ✌️

It's impressive how good the iPhone 14 Pro camera is without trying.

Buying keyboards while bored and may have stumbled into yet another expensive hobby.

..shit

Car ownership is painful when anything happens... and even worse when two things happen in a week... 🥲
Always fun to see parts of home I’ve never been before. Taiwan is such a beautiful place.
Late to the party, but Andor is really forking fantastic.

Embarrassing moment of the day…

My Uber driver said “have a nice flight” as he dropped me off at SFO and I said to him, without a sheer of hesitation, “thanks, you too”

🙃

In other news, I drove up Skyline and along the 1 to Half Moon Bay this past weekend and I am still at awe how freaking gorgeous California is, and so close to home too!

Some days I just want to delete Slack and curl up into a ball and roll around Apple Park away from all my responsibilities.

Today is some days. 🙃

Twitter killing the API truly signals the end of an era. In 2014, I joined @kirb on building our very own Twitter client, Aphelion; which later merged with Nightingale.

Aphelion was my first app design gig, and was the reason I learned iOS development in the first place. While we didn't ship the app in the end, the app still lived on for years on my home screen, even today!

I wouldn't be here today, working on iOS itself, if it hadn't been for Twitter. Truly sad to see it go like this...
