Some wire went on my Magnolia bonsai now that the leaves are off. I always wait to prune this until after the flowers bloom out in the spring. No need to waste them.

Put the #Bonsai trees from the bench to the ground for the winter. Which always makes me a little sad because I love looking at them from the kitchen windows.
The star magnolia doesn't have the best fall colors, but it's holding its own today.

Found a whole forest planting of volunteer alder trees today sitting in a disused hanging basket.

Rode my bike to the Pacific Bonsai Museum today and it was delightfully quiet and serene. Trees were in fall colors. And I was almost alone in the museaum to really look up into the branching and wiring of the trees.
