The 12th century Hutton Cranswick tub font in the Hull & East Riding Museum in Hull. One of six similar fonts in the area grouped together with North Grimston, Cowlam, Langtoft, Kirkburn and Everingham (private collection in 🇺🇸). The medieval gallery here is a delight.

I swung by Hull Minster this morning on my way to the Hull & East Riding Museum. A bold use of some 14th and 15th century brick, and so much more. The highlight of Hull Old Town.
