The App Store and a few other Apple services seem to be down. I used to go to Twitter to find out if it was just me or not. I wish I could use Mastodon for this, but that doesn’t seem really doable.
In general discovery of content around shared topics or live events seems significantly worse on Mastodon, which I hope can change in the future.
Maybe I’m in the minority, but the lack of an algorithmic feed on Mastadon makes my experience worse.
I want to see the best from the people I follow prioritized so that I get the most from my time.
Note: said feed doesn’t need to necessarily inject content from people I don’t follow.
