Iiiiit’s tech week time! 10-12 hour days over a 6 day work week. Plus the first snow of the season today. Here we go!
Applied for a new job on a whim. The freelance life is pretty good for my writing (except for when it’s really, really bad for my writing), but the idea of a steady consistent schedule with benefits is extremely appealing at the moment.
So ummm are we coming back here now or what?
Second draft of my road trip comedy is coming in at a solid 84 pages. That’s… probably still too short, right?
My dad is looking for a new job at the ripe old age of 67 instead of retiring like a normal person.
I didn’t really get it until we were talking about SEVERANCE and he said “you know, it really reminds me of my current workplace environment”

So, my most recent feature is getting a lot of comparisons to PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES, which I’ve never seen. Do I watch it to make sure I’m not accidentally copying anything, or leave myself oblivious for as long as I’m writing?
Damn, I was only unemployed for three weeks but I really fell into a comfortable rhythm there. Being back at work is hard and I am exhausted after two days.
