Blown away by this loving recreation of the Donkey Kong Country soundtrack. Sounds amazing in headphones. "Aquatic Ambience" is the clear highlight for me but it's pretty classic top to bottom.

I haven't been able to learn much about Motohiko Hamase but I just adore his album Intaglio. I have the 2017 re-recording, which is terrific; the 1986 original is on YouTube. Somewhere between jazz and ambient.

It was well worth it to get our pup's DNA test via Embark. Not *too* surprising, though we thought that there would be terrier in there. And his health panel came back with great results - no real concerns.

Also, the animal shelter where we volunteer had a surplus of free Wisdom panel kits, so we're going to run another test and compare the results. That should be interesting!
