@dsalo it’s not _good_, but there’s this weird combo of credulous acceptance of the wildest claims from tech companies and no mention at all of all the ways that such advanced computing power could also fake a/v that feels like it could make for good teaching material.

There’s a new version of War of the Worlds starring Ice Cube as a DHS Agent who’s Murderbot levels of nosy & has the surveillance tools to act on it. Feels like a verrrry rich text for one or more of your classes. (Also Cube is chewing up the scenery) Anyway, seemed worth mentioning.
