Words don’t change the world. But words can change my perception of the world.

Well, almost made it. At 5pm, with at least 1000 people still waiting to vote, all was shutdown.

Informally, through a journalist present, I learned that only about 830 people cast their vote, on total, in 10 hours. Meantime, thousands waited in vain.

Whereas the Telemundo reporters did their work smoothly, the Unvision crew got an earful. People were unhappy about the network’s Mexican coverage.
Voting at the Mexican Consulate (Los Angeles) par for the course. Enthusiasm, festive mood, and total lack of organization.
