Support for Windows 10 ends on October 14, 2025. Microsoft wants you to buy a new computer. But what if you could make your current one fast and secure again?

I’m gonna keep repeating this as often as I have the energy — maybe every day — because it needs to be said.
If you think this moment is gonna pass quickly, that things will “go back to normal,” you're fooling yourself. We're already deep in a slow-burning emergency, and it’s speeding up. Most people I talk to get that something’s wrong, but they’re not acting like time is short — and it is.
So here's what I’m asking:
Stay where you live, unless it's too dangerous.
Get to know your neighbors.
Figure out where your food will come from when the supply chains start wobbling.
Protect your people.
Practice good security culture.
This isn’t panic. It’s preparation. It’s love. We look out for each other, or we don’t make it. I’ll drop some resources in the thread. Hang in there, and stay human
Yesterday, a woman was assaulted and kidnapped / detained by three men who refused to identify themselves for speaking during a Kootenai County Republican Central Committee town hall and pointing out that town halls are supposed to feature citizen comment. The men who detained her were not wearing any badges or security labels/company logos. They were carrying zip ties on them, and were handing out religious Christo-fash pamphlets. Some of the material they were passing out was titled “prayer guide for state legislators - make America righteous again”
The woman illegally detained is Teresa Borrenpohl. Other people (all democrats, according to local media) who tried to help were also detained. Additional footage displays an off duty officer attempting to remove her before the men in black did. He threatened to use force against her and threatened anyone who was filming.
The town hall took place at a high school in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Local Idaho media claims that her violent removal was initiated by County Sheriff Bob Norris before involving LEAR Asset management, a private security firm with alleged ties to sheriff Norris.
Idaho, and CDA specifically, has long been a testing ground for nazis and the far right. It’s an organizational hub for neo nazis and christo-fash, perhaps even the strongest/biggest in the country for both above and underground groups and organizing. It’s also a testing ground for Christian nationalists and white supremacists to see how much they can get away with and what they can achieve utilizing politics, law enforcement, and other positions of power.
In addition to countless neo nazi groups, klan, militias, active clubs, Aryan nation, etc that were born and exist in Idaho, politicians in Idaho also have strong ties to white nationalists and far-right militias- including former lieutenant governor Janice McGeachin who is not ashamed to hide her love for far-right militias like the Three Percent Militia, spoke at Nick Fuentes’ white nationalist America First Political Action Conference, and has close ties to Ammon Bundy. Or Idaho state representative Heather Scott, who was an active participant in the occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. Or Dave Reilly, who promoted the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, who was endorsed by the Idaho Freedom Foundation for a school board position (who lost and was then hired by the IFF as a communications strategist). There are countless examples such as these.
IFF is a far right lobbying group, and they are a major player in Idahos politics with a lot of power and influence, and have very strong ties with far right militias and neo nazi groups. In 2022, 9 candidates who were not endorsed by the IFF say they were stalked, harassed, doxxed, and feared for their safety due to threats from white supremacists- several of which withdrew from the races because of this. One of the candidates even had a far right group doing “training sessions” outside of her home to intimidate her.
Pay attention to Idaho.
I remain impressed by US media and their creativity when describing nazi salutes. “Awkward hand movement.” “Provocative gesture.”
They can condemn protest signs on college campuses demanding an end to genocide but heaven forbid they grow a spine and call out fascism and these neo nazi scum for what they actually are.
US based neo-nazi group “hate club” held a flag wave in Cincinnati today where they waved swastika flags and carried rifles. Police blocked off the entrances and exits to the overpass where the nazis were to protect them from anyone interfering.
As hate club attempted to pack up into their uhual and leave, a group of people broke through the police barricades and rushed at the group of Nazis. Police physically pushed people back as they helped the Nazis get away.
