"Can machines think?"
The word “machines” can be replaced with many others. In any way is this question more current than ever. For some this is an exciting one; for some this is a horrible thought to imagine. We have reached a point that machines are writing scientific papers. The answer to this question is speeding towards one direction.
“Forgetting is advantageous.”
The quote is about learning: Forgetting is desirable as it signifies that the brain is processing materials that have been learnd.
Forgetting also allows one to not be locked in the past.
Over the last year I have been stuck in several memories which I wish not to forget but which bring me sadness for they are no longer reproducible.
I hope that writing helps to archive my memories so that I would not have to recall them from fear of losing them.
