Anyone knows good way to move your materials in individual files to blender's Asset Library?
Unfortunately due to external pressure, I have collapsed and became a (semi) realistic black hole.
I'm just so tired of all this genAI bullshit, from text to images. World is getting worse before our very eyes. But not all hope is lost, only thing to do is to fight back. There is no other option.

On this cursed day let us all be Luddites.

Hope you all have a nice day, you filthy animals <3
very much a first world problem:
Decision anxiety sucks. I have my old i5-4460 that I wanna use as homeserver (gotta use it for something) and as a NAS. Only problem that I'm unsure what's good way to utilize it, I have like 3 used 1TB HDDs that I expect to die at any moment, might buy few more used ones to put them in RAID so if any of those dies I'm not gonna loose anything locally (3-2-1 backup goes brrr).
Though I'd loose some capacity for redundancy with those, especially that they are at high risk of failure. Wouldn't it be better idea to buy like 2x 4TB drives and run in RAID1? It'd even use less power! But then again, I already have those hard drives just sitting and gathering dust for years now, feels like waste not using them.
What to do, what to do...
binaryn't
and my executive disfunction (aka "can't open blender for months at the time") doesn't help, probably.
There seems to be quite a handful of blender addons that promie to make hard edge modeling more betterer™. And not gonna lie, they do seem interesting. My main problem is that each one cost money and there is no good way to try them before spending (that I am aware of). I get why, but it's still annoying.
Ones I'm mostly curious about are:
- HardOps/BoxCutter
- Meshmachine
- Fluent
