Case 1: Employment Law
This case involved allegations of disability discrimination, failure to accommodate, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Given the potential exposure, and with the goal of keeping costs and fees low, Ms. Decker immediately prepared an answer and then jumped into settlement negotiations. In less than 4 months, the case was resolved for a nuisance amount and a fraction of the initial settlement demand, all without the defendant having to turn over a single document.
