Train pulls up to platform. My seat, 6 12f. I am by car 7. Look in window to see which end is the high numbers and which is the low so I am not fighting against the current like a noob. Near end is 1. Hustle to the far end of 6. Car is the reverse of 7. :(
Had a pleasant conversation with my wife the other day. About how each of us were torn down by peers or family as kids and she has spent her whole life thinking she was stupid, and me thinking I was ugly. Neither of us really had to come out and say how irritating we'd been to the other with these notions. But we both have been coming around to the idea, far too late in life to do a lot of good, that maybe none of it was never true.
She is a nice lady.
