For starters, I had this step-by-step research guide by Elmira College shared with me. It even has visual/video aids to take you through every step of the research process and even has links to helpful resources!

How to do research
If you’re an academic writer or researcher (or all of the above!) then university websites are an untapped resource in my opinion. They often don’t show up as top search results (because they’re not meant to generate maximum clicks and so don’t use modern SEO methods!). However if you know what you’re looking for then, with some persistence and patience, various university websites are out there that have a wealth of resources and information freely available to help you in your academic journey
That video of the Eglinton Station stabbing making the rounds is truly bone chilling. Be safe everyone.
I understand now what Palki Sharma meant by his hubris because the man returned! He went back on the daily show and defended himself as best he could by providing a broader image of the situation. You have to admire (?) the audacity (?) of the act though. He even managed to hold his own to some degree. I doubt many sitting heads of state, especially ones as controversial as Musharraf would willingly sit on the hot seat to be grilled by someone as sharp and unrelenting as Jon, not once but twice!
Baffled by why General Musharraf promoted his memoir on the daily show in 2006. Was it PR move to counter the west's perception of Pakistan as a backstabbing harbourer of terrorists and prove they could be trusted as allies in the War on Terror? It (unsurprisingly) backfired though considering Jon asked him point-blank where Bin Laden was. Gen Musharraf denied knowing his whereabouts only for Bin Laden to be found miles away from the Pakistan Military Academy.
