@KeithDJohnson you can get your feet wet trying in it on VB. Install a VB image, no installation process, you go straight to the login screen. OSBoxes.org has dozens of images.

Dual boot, that's up to you. It depends on why you want to run linux. My computers only have linux, no dual boot as I wanted to separate myself from Windoze. The Mint inataller (if you go that route) will create a dual boot. Search YouTube. There has to be a ton of install content.

@KeithDJohnson @[email protected] I'd start with Linux Mint. Install it. And learn as you go. Do not be afraid of the command line. Embrace the command line :) Although you will be able to do many installs from the store. Stay private and secure my friend!
