With every passing year I rediscover how deeply consumeristic my thinking is. I have too many things, and yet my brain finds ways to justify buying more. It's such a hard mindset to lose, but I'm working on it!

@michalzelazny your post made me consider that my hesitation to speak in public and my hesitation to post on social media might stem from the same place. It never occurred to me before!

I find commenting much easier because then it feels like a conversation, as opposed to posting which feels like using a megaphone.
