@running_zebra so my migrations are:

floss.social -> too much foss in here, it feels claustrophobic and I want not to feel constrained to talk about other stuff -> mastodon.online -> defederations -> neurodifferent.me -> technical issues, meanwhile my friend sets up an instance -> crab.garden -> wait I can’t change username??? -> will be crab.garden again

@running_zebra I mean it’s a combination of taking forever to find an instance I would fit on and transitioning, nothing I can do here. Oh, and wanting to be able to talk to people - I moved from your current instance because quite a few instances federated from it and mastodon.social - incl. those my friends are on. So…

I have so many gay posts in my timeline lately that when I encounter one that’s not I often have to pause and think what’s the catch with this one, before realizing that it’s not
