Soft launching a new social impact film & strategy company with amazing collaborators THE UNQUIET COLLECTIVE!

https://unquiet.com.au/

We are hosting Unquiet90 sessions in early 2023;

A 90 minute group zoom call for filmmakers, artists, writers and podcasters to ask the Unquiet Collective anything about impact producing, distribution strategy, media strategy, duty of care, collaborative filmmaking and more.

The agenda will be defined by participants' needs and can cover impact producing 101, partnership building, non-theatrical distribution, impact revenue possibilities, education materials and release strategy and will be based on a range of case studies from our archives.

We will leave significant time to respond to your much welcomed curly and curious questions which we believe everyone can benefit from hearing the answers to!

This is also a chance to meet and connect with others interested in impact producing and social justice media, art and film projects.

https://unquiet.com.au/unquiet90

We offer two solidarity tickets per session to First Nations and low income filmmakers, please email us directly to book these. [email protected]

having an account on Twitter & an account on Mastodon feels a bit like tending to two plants -- one in very bad health & also quite possibly cursed, and the other a very small cutting in a small container. And also they are in two separate houses several miles apart.

These last few years have been such a reality check. We already knew it was coming, but living it is something else.

Sometimes I can't believe the small battles we have to fight when the big picture is so urgent.

The last two years I've been involved in farming as well as campaigns to get fossil fuels out of the arts. The combination of lived reality on the farm coupled with pushing institutions is heady.
