I still have all my fingers (mostly) intact.
@fredrin I'm oldschool, I still use CS4, does everything I need and then some. I miss the old days when you bought your software and then just owned it from there. All this subscription-based bullshit is a huge headache.
@Nifflas Ah! I suppose I'm preaching to the choir, then 😅
@Nifflas Oh this looks neat, I'm gonna buy this now. If you like this kind of thing, I recommend "What the Golf" (also on Steam, here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/785790/WHAT_THE_GOLF/), which gave me a lot of good laughs in addition to some very fun and interesting brain twisters.
Steamで66% OFF:WHAT THE GOLF?

@lowqualityfacts anything can be a percussion instrument if you try hard and believe in yourself
When turned on, a computer should beep, make grindy disk drive noises, or both. This new stuff is unacceptable.
#sysadminday bonus secret from an IT person: Yes, we can read your emails. But yech, why would we want to?
@shibashecurity If it's any consolation, it also upsets my American sensibilities.
@Dianora Can't hurt to give it a shot! I'm not at all experienced in 3D printing (not yet anyway!), so I'm not sure what's involved in larger prints like that, but I'd be really interested in seeing how it's done and how it works out.
@Dianora I love Thingiverse so much, there's SO much cool stuff on there.
@Dianora "EECON" looks like the manufacturer, so kudos to them. And yep, you are spot on about the arcing! I did a little post-mortem out of curiosity (and boredom) and found the telltale scorch marks and corrosion on the contacts. And while I have my doubts as to whether they'll willingly put 3D print models up for any replacement parts (I think someone would have to make them do it)... I also doubt they'd be able to stop someone from just posting them online!
