I'm still reeling from this week. #Link23 was *by far* the best conference I have attended. It was wonderful to learn from so many experts in DevRel, and meet so many new folks.

I'm working on a trip report for work, and there are too many highlights to name. I hope I'll return next year, prepared to contribute further and reconnect with new found friends.

Well-thought out gifts communicate a lot. I love nothing more than receiving a gift and recognizing the person who gave it understands me. I hope the gifts I give offer the same feeling.
I joined #Chrome just over a year ago and have had so many questions about how browsers work. Now we have great #documentation on it by Sam Dutton: https://developer.chrome.com/docs/web-platform/#chrome-concepts

I interviewed my colleague and friend, Elisa Bandy, about her work to make Google's internal web documentation accessible. #Accessibility work is critical internally AND externally. https://web.dev/community-highlight-elisa/

Web Design Update: December 7, 2022

There were so many terrific talks at Web Directions. What an honor to speak among such innovative people. I look forward to next year.
Now on stage at @[email protected] to talk about “Building Amazing Apps with Project Fugu 🐡 APIs”. If you’re not at #WebDirections, just follow along (or catch up) from the comfort of your sofa 🛋️ at home: https://goo.gle/web-directions-fugu. 🦘 The app from the talk is https://svgco.de/.

Key takeaway:
Good docs are not Hamlet. Don't aim to be smart or sound smart. Help your audience feel smart by being clear and concise!

It was so cool to see Yiying talk about this work, “Lifting a Dreamer” which became the Twitter Fail Whale at #Summit2022 #WebDirections.

The way in which this design has stuck and transformed the idea of 404 pages is tremendous.
