Swift 5.9 is here! 🎉

Was fun to help put another release blog post together. Credits go to everyone who helped contribute with content and suggest improvements though!

Super grateful to anyone who helps spread the word! ❤️

📣 It’s time for me to start a new chapter in life and look for new opportunities.

I’m a curious, product-minded iOS/macOS developer who loves to craft beautiful apps using Swift and SwiftUI.

I thrive in smaller teams of like-minded people with a lot of ownership and autonomy.

I have several years of experience with designing, building, and shipping apps to the App Store.

Ideally full-time and remote, but curious to hear about other opportunities as well.

Excited to see what's out there! ✨

📣 We're looking for community contributions for the Swift 5.9 release blog post.

Have you or someone you know showcased some of the upcoming features or improvements? Let us know, and we might include it in the blog post.

Please spread the word! 🥳

Swift 5.9 release blog post community contributions

Hi everyone, As we’re getting closer to the release of Swift 5.9 we have started putting together the announcement blog post. I’m excited to let you know that this time around we’re also exploring ways of involving the community in this announcement. This is an opportunity for you, the Swift community, to showcase how you're utilizing the new features and improvements that will ship with Swift 5.9. We would prefer your contributions to focus on one or a few specific changes, i.e. a deep dive ...

Swift Forums

The growth stagnated a bit in May-June, but it has picked up its pace again.

I think this is thanks to better App Store ranking. I haven't done any ASO though, so it must be thanks to all the nice reviews!

Just crossed 300 five-star ratings! ⭐️

A quick @balance MRR update for those interested — $600!

Considering that I have only had time for 1 new version since my last update in April, I'm quite happy to see the recurring revenue doubled.

Still a bit busy with other things, but I've got exciting things planned for Balance!

🚀 1.6 is now available and brings some long-awaited improvements and fixes.

The active session duration is now available in the log as well. This is great for those who like to exclude breaks in their time tracking, e.g. for freelancers who track billable hours.

I've been quite busy with things the last few months, but it was really nice to find some time to work on Balance again last week. ☺️

Should be back to regularly scheduled indie stuff soonish!
