Devoured this book in a few days and it was such a treat. The story of a gay man living in Beirut through the civil war (as a teenager) and up to modern day Lebanon, dealing with all the crisis that hit my country with his mother, and she reminds me of my mom and grandma so much I cried several times. Can’t recommend it enough.
