Fossil fuels, or "stupid" fuels, are a national security risk. Currently my car is charging for free, from solar energy. My hot water is heating for free, from solar energy. Renewables keep us safe from dictators and don't get stuck in the Strait of Hormuz.

Labour are on the side of landlords, not tenants. I'm sure the Labour candidate for Gorton and Denton got a lot of ideas for how to fix the affordability of housing from appearing on a property investor podcast.

Britain is being destroyed by entitled billionaires. Tax the rich instead of subsidising them.

Compare and contrast. Labour are finished as a campaigning force. Only Green Party can stop Reform in Gorton & Denton. The polls say it, the people say it, a vote for Labour lets in Reform.

Congrats to Lian Pizzey for defeating Reform UK in Horsley. This marks the first time the Green Party has taken a seat from Reform.

First Bike Bus of 2026 at St Barnabas Primary was a good one, lots of kids, parents and volunteers. I'm always amazed at how well the kids get up the hill on Green Lane right at the end.

Pleased to be out supporting the Oldbury Park Bike Bus this morning in St John. Beautiful crisp weather and loads of parents and children helping to reduce traffic and air pollution by pedalling to school. My first Bike Bus of 2026 as well.

An early Christmas present on Gregorys Bank from Councillor Matt Jenkins, with a new dropped kerb to make it easier to get onto National Cycle Route 45 along the canal towpath. A nice improvement for active travel. Thank you Matt!
