Woke, hates Brexit and the Tories. Married to a wonderful guy who makes me happy.
My father had post-polio syndrome. The interesting thing about post-polio syndrome is that the onset is *at least* 10 years post-acute infection.
We aren't that far out from Covid yet. Long Covid may not be the only post-covid problem. (it is almost certainly not).
And we are still allowing Covid to spread unchecked so we can LARP 2019.
Long Covid is a public health threat, and the only way to limit its impact is to limit the spread of Covid.

It's stunning that the technical leader of the World Health Organization's COVID-19 response, Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, publically reaffirmed that COVID-19 is still a global health threat and still a pandemic, yet hardly any media outlet has covered this except for this one.
