I was arrested & interrogated in Argentina during the 70's "Dirty War'' in which its president sought to rid the country of "the enemy within" with the help of his military. 30,000 Argentines disappeared. Americans should be terrified at such talk from a presidential candidate.
@beckett I'm just saying that choosing the name of the write-in is only for your own gratification unless you're organizing a write-in campaign you intend to win.
(Also, while NC-4 is a very safe district, and I agree she is therefore effectively unopposed, technically she is not. There will be an R and an L on the ballot with her.)
Yeah, this is typical of liberals, thinking in just the liberal-conservative axis.
The Republican Party has not just gone hard right. It has also metastasized along other political dimensions. It has leaned into anti-intellecutal populism, and along with that, conspiracy theories, misinformation, and lies. It has become more authoritarianism and less democratic. And it has become a personality cult, around, of all people, an orange clown.
So, hell yeah! Dems up and down the ballot.
