Before approving a ticket app, make the developer buy a ticket on a blank phone for a train leaving in 5 minutes. If they fail to board, the app fails and should never see the light of day.

After more than a decade of building Taskheat and Subjects, it’s time for me to move on to the next big thing. I’m no longer involved in the development, support, or business operations of these apps in any capacity.
The apps will continue to be maintained by my capable former teammates. We started the transfer process almost three months ago, and once the App Store team completes it, the apps will reappear on the App Store.

A while back, I played around with the idea of an interactive calendar icon for a side project. The fun part? It had a face. And its mood would change depending on the day. It was my little experiment to make calendars feel a bit more alive.
A while ago, I experimented with a fun concept for a widget that would display current milestone progress in our task-tracking system. Skeuomorphism was a big thing back then, so I sketched a steampunk-inspired gadget. It only took merely two minutes to render it using modern AI.
