Proud moment. Worked out how to create a polygon from freeway data! It was easier than I had hoped.
Starting a project looking at parking lots. Blue is a parking surface. That's a lot of concrete.
Looking at the past few months (since May 6) of Houston 911 calls. These plots are by hour of day. Note that the numbers are dominated by EMS and Crash.
Questions: why are electrical issues all late afternoon and early evening? Are the pedestrians getting hit in the late night hours drunk, or getting hit by drunks? Do people smell a gas leak when they arrive at work?
Crashes dominated by afternoon rush hour.
